Seminar talks
I recently gave a seminar talk (oct 08) for the Birmingham HEP group giving an overview of results from H1 related to non-perturbative QCD studies, concentrating on light hadron production, and comparing results from ep collisions with the from e+e- and even heavy ion results from RHIC (talk).

Abstract
Particle production in ep collisions are sensitive to many different aspects of QCD; parton dynamics, fragmentation and hadronisation models, instantons, pentaquarks, multiple interactions, etc... What is common amongst all these studies is that QCD is unable to give exact predictions and various assumptions have to be made in order to construct models of the physics processes. I will present a brief overview of QCD and its limitations and some recent results from H1 will be presented together with a comparison to QCD models and with observations made in e+e-, ppbar and even heavy iron interactions.

I have also given a more general overview of HERA physics and H1 results to the QMUL HEP seminar (Jan 08). The talks of the title was “Physics Results From H1 that aren't about F2”. This included results on the quark radius, electroweak unification, search for new physics, and the extraction of the strong coupling constant from jets in DIS (talk).

In 2006 I had given seminars at QMUL and Cambridge on jet productions and particle spectroscopy studies at H1(talk).
