Talks and Papers I have presented
View from Ringberg Castle, 2005
In 2009:
I attended “Les Rencontres de Physique de la Vallée d'Aoste” in La Thuile, Italy. I presented a summary of HERA QCD results for both the H1 and ZEUS experiments. I covered the HERA combinations of the inclusive neutral and charged current DIS cross sections and resulting proton PDF fit, the first measurement of FL, and the latest measurement of the strong coupling constant from jet production in DIS (talk, paper in. lit.).

In 2008:
I attended a special workshop at ECT* in Trento, Italy, on parton fragmentation processes in the vacuum and in the medium. The workshop had the specific aim of improving our understanding of particle production in heavy ion collisions at the LHC. I presented a summary of fragmentation results from H1 (talk, paper).

At the DIS2008 workshop in London, I presented the published results on charged particle production in high Q2 DIS at HERA (talk, paper).

In 2007:
At the DIS2007 workshop in Munich, Germany, I was a convener for the Hadronic final state and QCD parallel sessions. A summary of the ~40 talks presented by different experiments and theorists was written up and included into the proceedings (paper).

At the EPS HEP2007 conference in Manchester. I presented new results on “Inclusive Properties of Hadronic final states at HERA” from both The ZEUS and H1 collaborations. This included measurements of Azimuthal Asymmetries, Event Shapes and Fragmentation Functions (talk, paper).

In 2006:
At the DIS2006 workshop in Tsukuba, Japan, I presented preliminary results on charged particle fragmentation at H1. These measurements were made at high Q2 DIS, thus allowing a direct comparison with e+e- annihilation results from PETRA and LEP, and with NLO QCD predictions (talk, paper).

The HERA and the LHC workshop lasted from 2004 to 2008, with sessions taking place at both DESY and CERN, producing two volumes of proceedings (vol1, vol2 in. lit.). I attended several of the sessions and presented results on hadronic final state studies at low x from H1 concentrating on its impact on our understanding of low x physics at the LHC. I covered studies on forward jet, two-, three- and four-jet production and di-jet correlation (talk).

Pre 2006:
In 2005 I gave a number of summary talks on jet productions and particle spectroscopy studies at H1, at the Low x meeting in Sinaia, Romania (talk) and at the Ringberg Workshop on New Trends in HERA Physics (talk, paper).

The results from my thesis, Hadronic Fragmentation Studies in Diffractive Deep Inelastic Scattering at HERA, were presented at Photon2001 and written up as a conference proceeding (talk, paper).
