- Release 0.0.16 expected around the new year.
- They have started migrating to use of CMT.
- Some useful changes in database libraries:
full support for user defined classes.
- Various improvements to OBK, DDC, Event Dump, ...
- First version of distributed histogramming.
Some essential requirements are still missing.
- Discussions on future developments for partitioning,
run control, resource maanagement

- DIG wishlist discussed: see next slide
- VMEbus library API proposed. We should comment:
http://atlas.web.cern.ch/Atlas/GROUPS/FRONTEND/documents/API.html
- Work has started on common trigger menu definition
and CTP simulation (Thomas Schoerner-Sadenius).
- Work has started on (quite hardware oriented) MuCTPI
simulation (Thorsten Wengler).

- Early recommendations on crates, CPUs, OS, libraries.
- Support for ``ROD crate DAQ'', eg general support in
the ROD crate (VMEbus, TTC related software, etc).
Also for the eventual event readout via VME from RODs.
- L1Calo requirements for slice test: Livio proposed
the PC ROS, starting small, building up to industrial
multislot PC (CERN are about to buy one).
- ROS software distribution: still being worked on, we
could be beta testers. Meanwhile Livio suggests we
take a PC with Slink card to CERN to get it set up...
- Support style: we think Online software is a good example.
- Contacts identified (Louis Tremblet for dataflow,
Mihai Caprini for Online, Marc Dobson databases).
