Online Software ``Integration''

• Political requirement to give a milestone
• Unlike Dataflow, DCS, Level 2 we arent integrating a large body of existing software (except HDMC)
• We are mainly developing new run control etc using Online software framework
• Progress partly depends on hardware schedules
• Despite all that, suggested 31 Dec 2001 as a date when a reasonable part of the system might be ``integrated'' with the Online software

General Software Integration

• Move to new software management tool (CMT)
• There will be pressure to use it
• Also for common software repository, etc
• Common tools, software process, etc
