On the Argentine side we were in Lanín National Park
and there were interesting things we would have liked to see
more of, such
as this lava field. However, the Argentine border post was still 40 minutes drive
away and soon to close,
due to the delay getting our Chilean bit of paper, so sadly
we could not linger
