Norman has started to produce a module database, tracking the location and status of all our existing modules and their daughterboards. He will announce the availability of this when it is ready.First release and next steps/h2> Most of the meeting was taken up discussing the details of the next steps and priorities following the first (internal) release of the L1Calo software.
The discussion was based around slides prepared by Murrough based on a collation of detailed points raised in earlier email exchanges.
Only areas where these needed amending, or where extra points needed to be made, are noted here.

Firmware discussion
We had hoped to have a brainstorming session around issues related to firmware. But time did not permit much discussion.Murrough slides show some first ideas about describing firmware in the database. Also a number of ideas was raised for verifying that the correct firmware is loaded. Apart from checksums in the file, the binary file contains the name of the design project which can be checked to ensure this is correct for the FPGAs function on the module.
Documentation status
Although a first draft of a database user guide is now available, this needs to be completed and other documentation still needs to be provided.Next meeting(s)
To be arranged.In the meantime, Cano Ay will come from Mainz to discuss implementing JEM module services with Bruce and Murrough.
