Grid Operations Centre Status
The Grid Operations Centre (GOC) publishes the results from the GStat
application which monitors EGEE/LCG compatible Grid Information Systems.
GStat's primary goal is to detect faults, verify the validity and display
useful data from the Information System.
GStat tests the Information System approximately every 30 minutes. The tests
do not rely on any submitted job, but rather on queries to site information
servers. This is done to gather information and perform so called sanity
checks to point out any potential problems with individual sites.
The colums are the total CPU, the free CPU, the number of Jobs
currently running, the number of jobs currently waiting, the total
disk space and the free disk space at each site. CPU is measured in KSI2K
and disk space in TB.
Warnings are shown
if:
- The number of waiting jobs is more than twice the total number of CPUs
(yellow).
- The number of waiting jobs is more than five times the total number of CPUs
(red).
- The number of waiting jobs is more than 10 and
the number of free CPUs is more than the number of waiting jobs
(yellow).
- The used disk (total - free) is greater than 90% of the total disk
(yellow)
- The used disk (total - free) is greater than 95% of the total disk
(red).
