BDII Summary

The Berkeley Database Information Index (BDII) allows users to find out information about sites on the Grid e.g. what versions of the experiment's software is installed at each site.

The UK has a number 'top level' BDIIs available to users. The availability of these is tested every 15 minutes by submitting queries about ATLAS software release versions to each BDII. If such a query has been successfull within the last 30 mins then the status is "Good". If such query has been success within the last 60 mins then the status is "Fair". Otherwise the status is "Bad".
