YETI'07

The tutorials are split into the following parts:

Introductory material on the use of ROOT. (pdf) (Example ROOT file)
Training neural networks and other MultiVariate analysers. (pdf) (tar file of MVA examples)
Introduction to fitting with ROOT, using TMinuit directly and using the RooFit interface to TMinuit. (pdf) (ROOT/RooFit macros) (TMinuit fitting example)

For more information on the use of ROOT, please refer to the ROOT web page at CERN. There is also a more extensive introduction to ROOT available (used for UL intercollegiate lectures), which can be found via http://www.ph.qmul.ac.uk/~bevan/GCL/computing.html.
